Slocan Blu Starr

History

In the early 1990s, local prospectors carried out exploration on portions of the current area of the Slocan property. During this period, the Blu Starr and Blu Moon sapphire deposits were discovered. In 1995, Anglo Swiss Resources Inc. purchased the Blu Starr property.

Concentrated mapping and sampling programs were carried out on the Blu Moon and Blu Starr sapphire zones from 1995 to 1998. In 1998, gem quality garnet, Iolite and graphite were found on the property.

Subsequent exploration, mapping, prospecting, geophysical surveys (magnetic, VLF-EM) as well as limited bulk sampling has since occurred.
